About Me
Still going strong 60-odd years on. Joined the Coldstream Guards as a boy in 1950, and served 13 years, before joining the Honourable Artillery Company and serving for a further 31 years. Still playing in corps of drums - four separate corps at the present time - and building up an Air Training Cadet corps from scratch at the present time. John, Shaun Mackaness travelled down from Leicester today to join us for the Grenadier Guards 'Black' Sunday. Shame that you couldn't have come with him !
